IMMACULATA, Pa. - Lebanon Valley outscored Immaculata 8-0 in the second half and got five goals apiece from Hana Krechel and Lindsey Buckman to win in a rout, 15-6, on Saturday.

The Dutchmen (2-2) controlled the second half, winning seven of nine draw controls and getting seven free position chances in the period to blow open a 7-6 game with the Mighty Macs (1-4).

Krechel and Buckman both had six-point games, and Kristin Clift scored twice. Allison McGinniss, Suzanne Sullivan, and Christy Wilson also scored for LVC. Taylor Kruter and Mel Modrick each snagged four draw controls.

LVC took a quick 3-0 lead inside of six minutes with two goals by Krechel and Sullivan's unassisted strike, but IU came back with four unanswered to take a 4-3 lead. Clift scored with 7:35 left in the half to knot it at 4-4.

The end of the first half saw a crazy sequence with five goals in the final 1:44. McGinniss scored to start the run, and Buckman notched 14 seconds later off Kruter's draw control. The Macs got one back with 1:06 left on Kacie O'Neill's goal, and Lauren Bigos tied it at 6-6 24 seconds later. The scoring wasn't over, though, as Buckman snatched the lead back off Kruter's draw and assist with 24 seconds left in the half.

The second half proved to be all LVC, with Krechel again scoring twice to lead things off before Buckman and Wilson hit in the opening 10 minutes to go up 11-6. The rout was on as Krechel found her fifth midway through the half, and goals by Clift and two more from Buckman iced the game.

LVC held advantages on shots (30-23) and draw controls (15-8) while going 5 for 11 on free position shots. Corinne Palombo made nine saves in 38:06 of play, but it was Erica Ameigh who picked up the win, stopping three in 18:54 of play to end the first half.
