Robert Morris Cruises Past Bellarmine

Smith put up an identical scoring line to Moore's, allowing him to become just the fourth Colonial in program history to surpass 80 career goals.

Junior midfielder Teddy Finnegan (West Islip, N.Y./West Islip) recorded his first-career point as a Colonial with a first-quarter assist while sophomore attackman Jason Hodgson (Beaverton, Ore./Southridge) scored RMU's final goal to collect his first point of the season.

Sophomore defenseman Ben Lewis (Cazenovia, N.Y./Cazenovia Central) led the defensive effort for RMU by causing three turnovers and recording two ground balls while redshirt sophomore Charles Ruppert (Long Island, N.Y./Massapequa) got the win between the pipes by tallying 11 saves.

Five different Colonial freshmen saw their first collegiate action in the victory.

Robert Morris will wrap up a brief, two-game homestand with a rare night contest this coming Tuesday, March 22, at an off-campus location. The Colonials will host nationally-ranked Bucknell at 7:30 p.m. under the lights of Mt. Lebanon High School in their final non-conference home game of the season.
