Maine-Farmington Falls at Becker
LEICESTER, Mass. -- The University of Maine at Farmington women's lacrosse team lost to Becker College 14-9 in non-conference play this afternoon.
The Beavers (0-3) are scheduled to take on Wheelock College Sunday at 11:00 a.m. at the Winsor School in Boston. The Hawks improved to 3-2.
Emma Morrison (Saco, Maine) and Aimee St. Germain (Gorham, Maine) each tallied a hat trick in the loss, while Miranda Levesque (Sanford, Maine) added a pair of goals and Corinne Vierkant (Stow, Mass.) scored a goal.
Ashley Mossey scored five goals to power the Hawks with Morgan Hazen striking four goals and one assist and Amanda Corso providing a goal and four assists.
Hannah Goodenow (Freeport, Maine) made 11 saves for the Beavers, who were outshot 36-25 for the contest.
Alena Phongsa stopped eight shots for Becker.
