Lincoln Nets Five as #10 Hofstra Downs Towson

The Tigers ended the Pride run 29 seconds into the fourth quarter as McGuire scored off a pass from Mezzanotte. But Hofstra's Jay Card extended his xonsecutive game points scoring streak to 37 games with his 16th goal of the year, from Braddish, to boost the lead to 10-4 with 13:04 to play in the contest.

Lincoln then scored his fifth of the game, equaling his Pride best set earlier this year against Harvard, at the 7:17 mark. Bentz scored a man-up goal with 4:12 to play before Domanic closed out the scoring with his first of the year a minute late for Towson.

Hofstra outshot Towson, 37-30 and picked up 33 ground balls to the Tigers' 24. Hofstra returns to action on Tuesday, April 5 when the Pride host the Jaspers of Manhattan College at James M. Shuart Stadium at 7:00 p.m.
