Visiting Terriers Run Past Daniel Webster

Nashua, N.H. Megan Denby netted a game-high five goals including three in the second half and Jillian Lambert added a four goals and one assist leading the Terriers (2-4, 0-1 NAC) past host Daniel Webster (0-4), 14-6 in a regional matchup Wednesday at Eagle Field.

Thomas never trailed, scoring the game's first seven goals with two each coming from Denby and Lambert. Late scores from Stephanie Zeman and Samantha Cotoni put DWC on the board and the Terriers led 8-2 at the half.

Zeman's second of the day 1:08 into the second half made it an 8-3 game but Thomas would score three straight from Lambert, Kim Migliara, and Denby for an 11-3 lead and the Terriers didn't look back.

Migliara chipped in with two goals for the Terriers, while Callie Joseph netted a goal and dished out two assists.

Sophomore goal keeper Teshia Cates (2-4) made six stops in goal for the win.

The Terriers will visit Pine Manor (0-2) on Saturday at 1:00 p.m.
