Wednesday's contest against Sweet Briar (3-5-1) was never close, as SU jumped on the Vixens for 11 of the first 12 goals of the contest and had a 7-1 lead by the time the game was 12 minutes old. Sophomore Sydney Anderson, with an unassisted goal, had the eventual game-winner at 22:35.
Nine different women scored the 18 goals, with freshman Samantha Donaghy netting a game-high four and six others: Corrinne Kosmowski, Sara Mucciaro, Ashley Heroth, Samantha Sisson, Amy Rollins and Keri Reid, scoring two each. Sisson and Jennie Ott both dished out two assists.
Shenandoah outshot its visitors 42-6, won 20 of 22 draw controls and had a 31-17 advantage in groundballs.
