Terriers Can't Keep up with Panthers

Waterville, Maine Thomas College (2-5, 0-1 NAC) hosted the Plymouth St. Panthers (6-2, 2-0 LEC) this afternoon at Bill Alfond Field on the campus of Colby College. Fresh off wins by both teams, the Panthers prevailed over the Terriers 21-3.

Makenna Bay led the Panthers with seven goals and an assist. Caitlin Swanson and Jenn Foley tallied two goals apiece as well. Plymouth State's goalkeeper, Lorin Field, played the first half allowing only two goals. Terissa Ridge and Megan Denby were able to find the back of the net. At the end of the half the Terriers were down 17-2.

Thomas' Ceara DiBiase would score their last goal of the game. Goalkeeper Teshia Cates recorded 12 saves in the loss. The Terriers were outshot in the game 40-17 and loss 20 of 26 draw controls.

The Terriers will be back in action this Thursday, April 14, as they travel to Husson for a 4:30 p.m. start.
