Wesley Drops CAC Contest to St. Mary's
Wesley rallied in the fourth quarter as the Wolverines posted a 4-2 run. The Seahawks netted two of the period's first three goals before the home team notched the game's final three tallies in 4:28, including two in a 37-second span.
St. Mary's outshot the Wolverines, 45-32, while edging the hosts, 32-30, in ground balls. Sophomore midfielder Albert Mitchell (Shrewsbury, Mass./Saint John's) won 10 of 19 face-offs while scooping up a team-best five loose balls.
In goal, junior Stu Wheeler (Baltimore, Md./St. Paul's) made 10 saves, including seven in the first half, with three ground balls.
