New Hampshire Doubles up Stony Brook

Cable notched a goal on an assist from Alyssa Cardillo (Farmingdale, N.Y.) to cut the deficit to three, 8-5, but New Hampshire went on a 4-0 run to pull away.

Both teams struggled with turnovers on the day. The Seawolves committed 17 to UNH's 16. Neither team put in a free position goal, going a combined 0 for 7 on attempts.

Mickey Cahill made 12 saves in net for the Seawolves. UNH's Kathleen O'Keefe stopped eight shots.

Stony Brook will rebound next Saturday in its home finale vs. Boston University at LaValle Stadium at 1:00 p.m. The match will be a part of Senior Day, and the Seawolves will honor their nine outgoing seniors Melissa Cook, Victoria Cable, Samantha Djaha, Trish Molfetta, Courtney Bertolone, Jamie Carlson, Abby Juliani, Mickey Cahill and Cori Kennedy.
