Mercy Outlasts Rain, Lightning, and Queens College

Mercy College outlasted rain, lightning, and the Queens College Knights on Sunday night, 17-16, in a game played in Purchase, N.Y.

The game is important in the East Coast Conference, as Mercy is now 3-1 and in third place. Queens is now 0-3 in the ECC.

Sophomore Kelsey Sullivan (Mastic, N.Y./Eastport South Manor) scored on a free position goal with less than 20 seconds to play to earn the win.

The Mavericks (7-4 overall) return to action on Thursday, April 21, at Molloy College.
