Florida High School Lacrosse Playoff Preview
Tournament Dark Horse: Bishop Moore
If the Hornets (18-2) can get beyond Lake Brantley in the first round, the squad has a real shot at a semifinal bid this season. Bishop Moore has already posted quality wins this year over Oviedo, Winter Park and Bartram Trail, while losing close games to St. Edward's and Winter Springs. The Hornets easily dispatched West Orange on Wednesday in the District 6 Finals. Next, Bishop Moore has the potential to defeat Lake Brantley in the First Round and then graduate to possible match-ups against Winter Park, Lake Highland Prep or Olympia. If the Hornets can find a way to defeat Lake Brantley, they have a strong shot at a Final Four appearance in '11.
