W&M outshot the Blue Hens, 11-5, in the opening 30 minutes, but UD's Worthington registered six saves.

Although Delaware began the second half with four unanswered goals to build an 8-4 advantage with 19:15 remaining, the Tribe charged back with the 6-0 run. Five different players scored for W&M during the pivotal stretch, as Mackrides, Golden, Anderson and Wannen each found the back of the cage once, while Holofcener added two goals and an assist. Wannen provided the tying score with 10:47 left, while Holofcener registered the go-ahead goal with 8:09 remaining.

Delaware ended its drought when Kalyn McDonough scored with 5:27 remaining, while Burns tied the contest with just 0:28 left in regulation. Jonson won the ensuing draw, but W&M was unable to get a shot off as the teams headed into overtime.

The Tribe will return to action when it plays at Towson on Sunday at 1:00 p.m.
