Towson Runs by Old Dominion to Win 4th Straight

The Lady Monarchs lost their fourth straight road game and are now 1-6 away from home this year.

The Tigers held Old Dominion to five goals, marking the sixth straight game that the Tigers have not allowed 10 goals ... The five goals are also a season-low for the Tigers, eclipsing the previous mark of seven goals that they allowed against Drexel and George Mason.

The Tigers snapped a two-game home losing streak with the win over Old Dominion on Friday night ... The Tigers are now 3-5 at Unitas Stadium this year.

With her goal in the first half against the Lady Monarchs on Friday night, senior attacker Jess Dunn (Fallston H.S./Forest Hill, Md.) extended her goal-scoring streak to 12 straight games ... She has scored 31 of her team-high 34 goals during the streak.

Dunn has also scored the Tigers' first goal of the game a team-high four times this year.

Dunn now needs just nine points to become the 22nd player in school history with 100 career points ... She has scored 88 goals with 3 assists in her career.

LaMonica extended her point-scoring streak to 10 straight games after a four-point performance against the Lady Monarchs on Friday ... During the 10-game streak, she has tallied 14 goals with 11 assists ... In addition, she has a goal in five consecutive games along with a four-game assist streak.

Appelt, who leads the Tigers with 18 assists this year, has a point in 10 straight games after a three-point effort against Old Dominion ... She has tallied 16 goals with 12 assists during the streak, including five four-point games.

Appelt also has a goal in four consecutive games and has tallied an assist in five straight games.

Of Appelt's 17 goals this season, 15 of them have come in the Tigers' nine wins ... She also has 27 of her 35 points in Towson victories this year.

Sophomore midfielder Kelly Custer (Sun Valley H.S./Aston, Pa.) has scored a goal in four straight games after her goal in the first half on Friday night.

Coogle recorded the second multi-goal game of her career with two goals on Friday night ... She also had a three-goal performance at Hofstra on April 10 ... It is also her second multi-point game of the year.

Waldron recorded her fourth "hat trick" of the season against the Lady Monarchs ... It is the sixth "hat trick" of her career ... She also posted the third five-point game of her college career.

With two goals against Towson on Friday night, Bernardini now has 87 career goals with 49 assists ... She needs just three points to move into third place on the Lady Monarchs' all-time points list.
