No. 12 Haverford Defeats Swarthmore

HAVERFORD, Pa. - Junior Max Hubbard recorded a hat trick by the end of the first half, but it wasn't enough to help Swarthmore (4-11, 2-6 CC) overcome a 5-1 first-period deficit, as homestanding Haverford (11-3, 6-2 CC) defeated the Garnet 10-6 on Saturday afternoon.

Swarthmore put itself in an early hole as the Fords came out of the gates quick, netting five goals in the first quarter while Hubbard was the only Garnet player to find the cage.
