Mercy Drops Final Home Game to No. 8 C.W. Post
Mercy College played its final home game of the season, falling to No. 8 C.W. Post, 18-2.
Sophomore Marissa Hurley (Shirley, N.Y./William Floyd) and freshman Kelsey Bub (Cortlandt Manor, N.Y./Walter Panas) had the two Maverick goals. Between the pipes, sophomore goalie Stephanie DiLegge (Bay Shore, N.Y./Bay Shore) made 15 saves.
For the Pioneers (11-3; 6-0 ECC), ten different players scored, led by four goals from Lauren Spagnoletta.
The Mavericks (7-6; 3-3 ECC) complete the regular season this weekend, playing at Lake Erie College on Saturday, and at Seton Hill on Sunday.
