Atlantic 10 Announces All-Conference Accolades

Riley Perry was also named the league's Student-Athlete of the Year, as voted on by the A-10's Sports Information Directors. The North Babylon, N.Y., native is a two-time A-10 Academic All-Conference honoree, while serving on UMass' Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC). Perry has started all 16 games as one of top defenders on the league's top ranked defense. She has tallied 13 caused turnovers, 26 groundballs, 18 draw controls, and two goals on the year. Perry becomes the first UMass player to be named Student-Athlete of the Year.

The A-10 All-Conference accolades were announced on the eve of the 13th annual Atlantic 10 Conference Women's Lacrosse Championship, which gets under way Friday, April 29 at 1:00 p.m. at Geasey Field on the campus of Temple University. The 2011 All-A-10 Women's Lacrosse Team, All-Rookie Team and Academic All-Conference Team are listed below.
