No. 3 Limestone Knocked off by No. 9 Rollins

The next draw fell into the Saints' sticks, and a goal from Chelsea Treat pulled Limestone back in contention with the scoreboard set at 10-9 with 11:58 to go, but the Tars were not about to concede.

On the following draw control, Rollins used a one-two-three connection gave Rolliins another two-goal pad, with Showell netting her second of the game off of an assist from Tyszko. With a score of 11-9, Rollins yet again won the draw, but a steadfast Saints defense took the ball back down to their attacking end. A shot from Saints resulted in another big save from De Lisle to keep Limestone off the scoreboard, and a free position shot from Prager was promptly saved by De Lisle to yet again keep Limestone cold.

Rollins put two more points on the scoreboard as they held the Saints silent in the final 12 minutes of the contest, closing out their final game of the regular season on a high note. The Tars trailed on the shot count 24-22, but placed 20 of their 22 shots on frame. Rollins won the ground ball battle 24-17, and took control on 14 of 23 draw controls.

The ninth-ranked Rollins women's lacrosse team now crosses their fingers and awaits the NCAA Division II women's lacrosse selection show at 9:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 8, to see if they will earn the program's first bid to the post-season tournament.
