Hood Adds 16 Recruits for the 2012 Season

Nick Reinberg is 5'9", 175-lb., goalie from Evanston Township High School in Evanston, Ill. The starting goalie for Evanston, Reinberg is also the starting keeper and captain of Team Illinois U-17 and the Milkmen U-17, a club team based out of Wisconsin.

Joey McCulloh is a 6'1", 265-lb., goalie from Winters Mill High School in Westminster, Md. A seasoned lacrosse player, McCulloh played for the U-18 Summer Travel League with Team CMD and helped his squad earn a berth in the Atlantic Cup Tournament in Florida. Additionally, McCulloh played four years of football for the Falcons.

On attack, Mattoon secured athletes from Pennsylvania, New York and Connecticut.

John Hyman is a 5'8",165-lb., attackman from Dallastown Area High School in Dallastown, Pa. A varsity starter since his freshman year, Hyman helped the Wildcats advance to the district tournament last year. This past summer, Hyman played for the York Select Meltdown lacrosse team. A three-sport athlete at Dallastown Area, Hyman also started on the wrestling and soccer teams. The Wildcat soccer team is a force on both the county and district levels and this year earned a spot in the state tournament.

Robert Kraft is a 6'0", 180-lb., attackman from Cold Spring Harbor, N.Y., who played with the Long Island Express this past summer.

Shane O'Keefe is a 6'1'', 160-lb., attackman out of Glastonbury, Conn. A two-year varsity starter at Glastonbury High School, O'Keefe played for Progression Lacrosse in the summer of 2010 and scored 43 goals.

Mattoon's trio of defenders represent Maryland, Pennsylvania and Virginia.

James Weger is a 6'1", 190-lb., defenseman from Susquehannock High School in Glen Rock, Pa., who has experience at LSM and close defense. Weger is a three-sport athlete who also participated in football and basketball. On the lacrosse field, Weger started on varsity for three years and was a team captain as a senior. Susquehannock has won two straight league championships. Additionally, he played for the York Select lacrosse club last summer and the Warrior lacrosse club for two years. A two-time all-county wide receiver on the football team, Weger captained both the football and basketball squads.

Charles Brown III is a 6'1", 190-lb., defenseman from Huntingtown High School in Huntingtown, Md. A senior captain for the Hurricanes, Brown is known for his quick feet and stick skills at close defense. He is a member of the Razorback lacrosse club and the Southern Maryland Pride select team.

Miguel Caruso is a 6'0", 170-lb., defenseman from Chancellor High School in Fredericksburg, Va., who grew up and learned the game of lacrosse in Branford, Conn. Caruso has experience with every position on the field, including in goal. A former coach called Caruso the team's 'utility man'. He also lettered in football at Chancellor.
