Washington State Title Games Set for Saturday

Along with Chapman, Woodinville features a talented lineup highlighted by '11 All-Cascade Conference selections Daniel McKee (midfield), Jacob Dransfield (defense), and Dalton Combs (goalie). If Woodinville can keep Sammamish from putting up 10 or more goals, the team should be in good shape. The Falcons haven't allowed any team to score more than eight goals against them all year.

Meanwhile, Sammamish (19-0) enters Saturday's pinnacle contest with a full head of steam. The Totems easily dispatched Blanchet in the semifinals, 16-4, behind a well-balanced lineup. Nine different players scored goals in the game with Tyvan Schmidt and Tyler Wright each netting hat tricks. Also, with Sammamish allowing just 3.5 goals per game this season, don't expect this game to be a shootout. Look for good overall pace and some intriguing match-ups between both offenses and defenses.
