Shawn Nadelen Named New Towson Head Coach

A native of Rochester, N.Y., Nadelen is married to the former Mary Ciolek, who is a certified athletic trainer and a member of Towson's kinesiology faculty. The couple resides in the Baltimore area.

"Our search committee did an outstanding job of reviewing many qualified candidates while providing great insight into what Towson Lacrosse has been and what we hope to be in the future," Waddell says. "I want to thank these folks and the many generous coaches around the country on the high school, college and professional levels for their counsel during this process."

Mike Harris (Committee Co-Chair): Senior Associate Director of Athletics, External Relations and men's lacrosse oversight
Carl Runk: Retired Head Men's Lacrosse and Football Coach, Towson University
Sonia LaMonica: Head Women's Lacrosse Coach, Towson University
Heather Crowe: Kinesiology Professor at Towson University and men's lacrosse Faculty Fellow
Steve Heaney: Lecturer in English at Towson University and men's lacrosse Faculty Fellow
Norm Engelke: Cornell alumnus and two-time United States National Team World Games player
Bob Shriver: Washington College alumnus and head boys' lacrosse coach at Boys' Latin School
Tim Barger: Towson University alumnus and former men's lacrosse and soccer student-athlete
