Shenandoah Adds Three for the 2012 Season

WINCHESTER, Va. - New head men's lacrosse coach Mike Kruger announced Thursday a list of three new student-athletes coming into the men's lacrosse program for the 2012 season.

Kruger, who was announced as the Hornets new coach two weeks ago, inherited these three recruits into his program. All three student-athletes are from Virginia.

Chris Frazier comes to SU from Culpeper H.S., Kyle Shea is a Chantilly H.S. grad and Josh Weaver is from Lake Braddock H.S. These three will join with 22 returnees to form the basis of Kruger's first team.

"We are still working hard to identify student-athletes who want to be a part of what we are building at Shenandoah University," Kruger said.

"Everyone is going to get a equal shot during fall practice and I look forward to working with everyone in building a program that is going to be competitive regionally and nationally."

Shenandoah opens its 2012 season on February 25 with a non-league contest against Alfred (N.Y.).
