Tampa Lacrosse Names Pair of Asst. Coaches

A 2011 graduate from Salisbury University, von Kamecke earned his bachelor's degree in exercise science while minoring in athletic coaching. Playing for SU, von Kamecke won Division III national titles in 2007 and 2008. He was honored with second-team all-CAC and USILA Honorable Mention All-American in 2008 and 2009, and as a senior was first-team ECAC Division III all-metro and south region all-star as well as USILA second-team All-American.

Von Kamecke concluded his collegiate career with 108 goals, 73 assists and 181 total points while playing in 87 games. After graduating college, von Kamecke has continued his lacrosse career and is currently playing for The LXM PRO tour. At Bishop Moore High School in Orlando, Fla., von Kamecke was a three time All-American and recorded 288 career points.

Von Kamecke served as a coach at The Salisbury School (Salisbury, Md.) in 2011. Before that, he coached the Ocean City MD green turtle team (2009) and the U17 Florida Possums (2007).

He has also served as a camp counselor at Florida Lacrosse Camps, Premier Players, Jake Bergey Lacrosse Camp, Bernhardt Lacrosse Camp and Jim Berkman Lacrosse Camp.
