Fahey Joins Concordia Wisconsin as Asst. Coach

Mequon, WI. Michael Fahey has been named the first graduate assistant coach for the Concordia University Wisconsin men's lacrosse program. Fahey comes to Concordia University Wisconsin after a distinguished playing career.

In high school, he was a first team all-conference selection his senior year and was also the runner-up goalie of the year in Western New York. After high school he attended Onondaga Community College for two years and was a member of the 2007 NJCAA Lacrosse National Championship team as well as being named an Academic All-American.

Fahey then moved on to Lees-McRae College in Banner Elk, NC, and graduated in 2011 with a degree in Physical Education. While at Lees-McRae College, Fahey was one of the starting goalies as well as being named Academic All-Conference multiple semesters. During Fahey's senior season Lees-McRae College as a team was ranked 2nd in the NCAA in saves per game.

Fahey will serve as the top assistant and will work primarily with the defensive personnel and goaltenders. He also will be in charge of travel and play an integral role in recruiting and fundraising.

Fahey, a native of Buffalo, NY, currently resides in Grafton, Wisconsin. He is pursuing a Master's of Science degree in Student Personnel Administration while at Concordia University Wisconsin.
