Why did you choose Michigan? "Michigan is a top academic school with an amazing support system so that all student athletes can thrive there and that was really important to me. Michigan has made a tremendous commitment to their new lacrosse program not only by bringing in top level players, but by building brand new lacrosse facilities as well. It will be exciting to a part of a new program and I am hoping to have an impact right away to help bring the team to a championship level like so many of their other sports. Most importantly, Coach (John) Paul and his staff are just terrific and right away made me feel like I was already a member of the team and part of the Michigan lacrosse family."

Other info: Rising sophomore attackman Jeff Chu - a Conestoga grad - is playing at Michigan, which comes to Philly next month to compete at the Nick Colleluori Classic at Ridley. La Salle junior defenseman Stefan Bergman recently committed to Michigan.

Outlook for 2012 HS season: "We should have a strong season. We have a lot of returning players so we are hoping to make a serious run at a third straight championship. We have a great schedule this year so we should be ready for any tough opponent."
