UNH Signs Five to National Letters of Intent

"Hannah is one of the top athletes and competitors we have ever recruited for the UNH program and she will undoubtedly bring to UNH her tenacity, aggression, speed and unmatched competitive drive to bolster our midfield and defensive units," Daly said.

"Hannah plays with an intensity and passion that is infectious and leads by example on the field by making all the 'hustle' plays that are the difference between winning and losing. She has a strong understanding of the game of lacrosse on both ends of the field, great instincts and reactions on draws, and excellent field vision/reads on defense and on the ride. I expect her to impact our team right away with her intensity, stick skills, athleticism and mental toughness all over the field. She is also a born leader and just an incredible talent and her addition will make our UNH team that much stronger, both on and off the field."

New Hampshire begins the 2012 women's lacrosse season Feb. 25 at home against intrastate rival Dartmouth College. Game time at Memorial Field is 1:00 p.m.
