2012 Siena Men's Lacrosse Schedule Released

"It should be another great night of lacrosse in the Capital Region," added Svec who served as an assistant at UAlbany under Scott Marr from 2001-08.

Should the Saints advance to the four-team MAAC Championships for a fifth time in six years, the conference title will be contested at Marist's Tenney Stadium at Leonidoff Field May 4-6.

The Saints return six starters and 34 letterwinners to the fray in 2012. Siena finished the 2011 season 13-5 overall, winning the MAAC Championship and advancing to the NCAA Tournament for a second time in three years. The Saints' 13 wins were a program record and the squad concluded the season ranked No. 20 overall in both the USILA Coaches' Poll and Nike/Inside Lacrosse Media Poll for the first time ever.
