ASA College Announces Inaugural Recruits

Travis Gordon, Attack, Hempstead High School, NY
Gordon was a Nassau All-County selection his senior year. The 6'3" 230 lbs attackman scored 51 goals for the Tigers. He was also an All-Conference selection in both basketball and football.

Anthony Grant, Defense, Christopher Columbus High School, NY
Grant was a two year starter for the Sharks. He helped lead the team to a 12-2 record and its first PSAL A Championship in 2010. Grant was named defensive captain his senior year in 2011. He also played football for Columbus and was a defensive end and tight end.

Gerard Hennessy, Attack, Long Island City High School, NY
Hennessy was a two year starter on attack for the Bulldogs. He helped lead the team to a 13-3 record and the PSAL B finals in 2011 after winning the championship in 2010. His senior year he had 13 goals and 13 assists and picked up 21 ground balls.

Casey Jackson, Attack, Claremont Secondary School, British Columbia, Canada
Jackson helped lead the Coquitlam Adanacs to the Minto Cup finals in 2011 and was tied for the leading scorer in the Minto Cup. In 2010 he was named to the BCJALL 1st All-Star team, finished 2nd in league scoring and was a finalist for the Junior of the Year on NLL Insider.

Dexter Livingston, Midfield, FDR High School, NY
Livingston was a midfielder for the Brooklyn Admirals lacrosse club. He is also a member of the ASA College track team.

Raymond McClough, Midfield, Hempstead High School, NY
McClough was a 4 year starter and team captain for the Tigers. He received honorable mention Nassau All-County honors his senior year and was All-Conference his junior and senior years. The 6'2" middie scored over 70 goals during his high school career. He was also an All-Conference selection in basketball.

Robert Oliver, Midfield, FDR High School, NY
Oliver was a midfielder for the Brooklyn Admirals lacrosse club. The 6'3" 185 lbs versatile athlete will play short stick defensive midfielder.

Raul Soto, Defense, Herbert H. Lehman High School, Bronx NY
Soto was a starter on defense for the Lions during the 2011 season. He helped lead team to 12-3 record including finishing 3-1 in the NYC Mayors Cup. Raul was also right guard and special team player for the Lehman football team.

Ryan Watson, Attack, New Westminster Secondary School, British Columbia, Canada
Watson played for the Burnaby Lakers in the BCJALL. He was second in scoring on the team with 20 goals and 26 assists as a rookie. He was also a U-19 gold medal winner playing with New Westminster in the BC provincial field lacrosse championships.
