"Margaret is a midfielder who is just starting to come into her own and we will look for her to help us with the transition game and in the offensive end," stated Johnson.

Siefert is a midfielder who comes to Vermont from Notre Dame Prep in Towson, Md. As a junior she helped Notre Dame Prep advance to the league semifinals.

"Danielle is a crafty midfield attacker who has great skill and game sense. We will look to her to contribute by putting points on the board for us next year," said Johnson.

Vanderzalm hails from Pelham, Ontario and is the fourth Canadian recruit for the Catamounts in the program's history. Vanderzalm comes to Vermont from Notre Dame College in Welland, Ontario.

As a freshman she tallied 81 points, setting a new rookie school record, and Notre Dame finished the year ranked sixth in Ontario. As a sophomore she totaled 138 points, again setting a school record and led Notre Dame to a No. 2 ranking in Ontario and the silver medal at the Ontario High School Championships. Last season she surpassed her own school record with 145 goals and 60 assists for 205 points. Notre Dame finished the year ranked No. 1 in Ontario and the team won the gold medal at the Ontario High School Championships. A two-time team MVP, Vanderzalm is a three-time All-Midwest and Midwest Schoolgirls Lacrosse Tournament selection.

"Vanessa is a midfielder with great size, athleticism and a knack for winning the draws. She will be a key two-way midfielder for us next year contributing on both ends of the field," said Johnson.
