Goucher Outgunned by Rowan in Profs' Opener

TOWSON, Md. – What was once a 3-3 game turned into a blowout, as Rowan scored five straight goals and 14 of the next 16 to put away Goucher, 18-6.

Five players had multiple tallies for Rowan (1-0) in its season opener, led by four each from Michelle Lubrano and Marissa Micciche. Vicky Sucharski added three goals for the Profs along with seven assists.

Goucher (0-3) received three goals from Becca Smith and a pair from Erin Reifsnyder. Rowan outshot the Gophers 33-16 and held a 19-7 advantage in draw controls.
