Prager, Queener Lead #6 Limestone by#12 Gannon
Caitlyn Fisher (Cypress, Texas/Cy-Fair) gave Gannon consecutive goals less than four minutes later, before Limestone out-scored Gannon 5-2 in the final 13 minutes and 30 seconds. A Limestone goal with only six seconds remaining capped the scoring and gave the Saints a 19-9 victory.
Fugate led the Gannon offensive troops with two goals, three assists and five points. Fisher and Valentine also recorded two goals each. Grzybinski, Lombardoni and Rachel DerCola (Rochester, N.Y./Brighton) chipped in one goal apiece. Margaret Maslyn (Penn Yan, N.Y./Penn Yan Academy) recorded seven goals between the pipes.
Gannon concluded its Spring Trip with a 1-2 record. Limestone improved to 4-1. The Lady Knights return to action Saturday, March 10 at NCAA Division I Niagara. Game time is scheduled for 2:00 p.m.
