Teodosio Nets Four as Guilford Runs by Berry
ROME, Ga. – Taylor Teodosio scored a career-high four goals in Guilford College's 12-3 men's lacrosse win at Berry College Saturday afternoon.
The Quakers (3-1) scored the game's first 10 goals before Berry (2-2) scored at the 8:08 mark of the third quarter.
Guilford enjoyed a commanding 41-28 edge in shots and won 13 of 18 face-offs. Greg Nash and Chris Ashcraft both scored three times for the Quakers. Chase Clausen added two tallies and Henry Farley dished out a game-high three assists.
Rookie Thomas Deane made a career-high 12 saves in goal for Guilford. Sam Newland won 13 of 18 face-offs and picked up a game-high eight ground balls.
Bryan Byers had a hand in all three Vikings' tallies with two goals and an assist. Jordan Boreman made 16 saves in goal.
The Quakers host Cazenovia College Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. in the Armfield Athletic Center.
