Fraser Starts Strong, Fades Against #6 Oregon

The fourth quarter would be a back-and-forth end to the hard fought contest, as the Clan and Ducks traded goals the rest of the way, matching each other at 3-3 on the score sheet over the final 15:00 minutes to maintain the Oregon lead and finish the game with a final score of 20-13.

Spencer Robertson (San Diego, CA/La Jolla High School) – 4g, 2a, Matt Johnson – 3g, 2a and Chris Osip – 4g led Oregon offensively. Osip and Robertson each registered a game-high 4 goals apiece, with 5 (4g, 1a) of Robertson's game-high 6 points coming in a decisive second half for the Ducks.

Neither team will have much time to rest, as both squads head three hours south down the 1-5 and play back-to-back as part of a March 4 double header that will see Oregon take on Washington, followed by Simon Fraser versus Florida in the Clan's third out of conference match-up of the season.
