Goucher Uses Four-Goal Run to Down Hornets

TOWSON, Md. Shenandoah scored the first two goals of the game in the first minute of playing time, but only tallied one goal over the next 30 minutes, eventually falling to Goucher 10-8.

As quickly as Shenandoah (3-2) took the lead, Goucher tied it back up, with a pair of Anneke Ossorio scores less than two minutes into the game. Goucher (2-4) took the lead 50 seconds later off a Hannah Khin free position score, and extended the lead to three at the half when Khin tallied another goal with just :01 left in the period.

While the second period was a back-and-forth affair, Shenandoah only managed to pull within one, never managing to level the score. After the Hornets made the score 8-7, Becca Smith tallied two goals to put the game away for the Gophers.
