No. 8 Vanderbilt Escapes with Two-Goal Win vs. Louisville

Bushway registered her ninth goal of the season, and Colleen O'Malley netted her fourth goal of the year two minutes later to put Louisville within two before Vanderbilt scored two more goals for an 8-4 advantage.

Freshman Cat Gordon had a strong game in the circle, winning eight draw controls, which is third most in a single game in school history, and collecting one ground ball. Monica Negron had a solid game as well, totaling four ground balls and one caused turnover and leading the defense that held Vanderbilt to just six second-half goals.

The Cardinals return to action on Saturday, March 17, against Jacksonville. Start time is set for noon at D.B. Milne Field in Jacksonville, Fla.
