Coogle Scores Five Goals as Towson Topples Temple

The Tigers finished the game out shooting the Owls, 30-26 as the Tigers controlled 17 of the 26 draws in the game.

Senior goalkeeper Mary Teeters made 11 saves in 51:25 minutes of action to earn her sixth win of the season. Freshman Kelsea Donnelly had a save and a pair of caused turnovers in the final 8:35 for the Tigers. Tess Bishop made seven saves while taking the loss for Temple.

The Tigers had eight or more players score in the game for the second straight contest. Coogle led the Tigers' offensive attack with five goals and two assists while Custer had three goals. Appelt contributed two goals and two assists for the visitors.

Jaymie Tabor had a pair of goals for the Owls while Charlotte Swavola had a goal and an assist.

The Tigers return to action on Tuesday, Mar. 27 when they travel to Maryland for a 7:00 p.m. game.
