Connecticut College Routs UMass-Dartmouth in Fla.

CLERMONT, Fla.--Maura Brazel (Boxboro, Mass.) erupted with four goals and two assists and sophomore Izzy Marx (Ridgewood, N.J.) scored three goals and assisted on two others to lead Connecticut College to a convincing 18-1 victory against UMass Dartmouth at the National Training Center.

The Camels improve their record to 2-3 with their second straight win, while the Corsairs slip to 2-3 with the loss.

Lowell Abbott (Manchester, Mass.) netted three goals for the winning side. Senior Katelyn Driscoll (Peabody, Mass.) had two goals and one assist.

Cecily Cushman (Marblehead, Mass.) and Charlotte McAuley (Summit, N.J.) both scored twice for the Camels.

Ashley Crutchfield (Concord, N.H.) and Bri Miller (Sudbury, Mass.) registered a goal and an assist for the winning side.

Junior net-minder Kelsey Burke (Kingston, N.H.) made one save to earn the win. Jen Morgan (Orange, Conn.) logged the closing 10:03 of regulation in her first action of the season.

Taylor Corsano (Bourne, Mass.) accounted for the Corsair offense with her fourth goal in the past two games.

Kathleen Landers (Danvers, Mass.) collected four ground balls for UMass Dartmouth.

Junior Angelina Donovan (Medford, Mass.) made nine stops in the setback and has stopped 39 shots in her first five starts of the season.

The Corsairs will visit Worcester State next Tuesday for a 4:00 p.m. game.

The Camels will continue their Sunshine State sojourn this Friday when they meet NESCAC rival Williams College for a 12:00 p.m. game at the National Training Center in Clermont.
