LAFAYETTE HILL, Pa. A 10-2 run over the final 34 minutes of play broke open a tie game and led Kutztown to a 12-4 win over Chestnut Hill in non-conference women's lacrosse.

Carmina took a feed from Pica with 3:34 to go and Schwar's first goal of the day came with less than a minute left on the clock to send the Golden Bears into the intermission ahead 4-2.

KU scored the first six goals of the second half to put the game away. Krystine Beodeker (Dingmans Ferry, Pa./Delaware Valley) scored quickly after play resumed as Kutztown went ahead 5-2 with 29:18 to play.

Carmina scored back-to-back goals off assists from Schwar and Jillian Spencer (Sewell, N.J./Washington Township) to make it a five-goal lead with 25:17 remaining. Neither team scored for nearly nine minutes when Timony finally put Chestnut Hill back on the scoreboard at the 13:06 mark. The Griffins cut it to 10-4 with just over 11 minutes to play when Erica Eaby scored her only goal of the day.

Spencer scored on a free position and Emily Solt (Bowmanstown, Pa./Concord (Del.)) scored with the help of Katie Feairheller (Ocean City, N.J./Ocean City) with 2:09 to go as the Golden Bears stretched the lead back to eight.
