Albright Makes Short Work of Ravens

READING, Pa. - Rosemont's men's lacrosse team were defeated soundly this afternoon at Albright College by a final score of 26-1. The Lions' record moved to 10-1 with the win, while the Ravens are 0-7 in their first campaign.

The first quarter featured a total of 14 goals. Albright scored the first goal with less than one minute elapsed and added seven more before Justin Regan (Fr., Hillsborough, NJ) scored on a feed from Tom Bottoms (So., Roman Catholic, Philadelphia) to score Rosemont's only goal of the afternoon. The score at the time was 8-1 with 8:30 left in the first quarter. The Lions added five additional goals to end the quarter with a 13-1 lead.

Albright added eight additional scores in the second quarter to take a 21-1 lead into the major break.

Dean Grisoff (Fr., Eastern, Voorhees, NJ) won 13 of 30 faceoffs and was credited with 11 ground balls. Grisoff also led the Ravens with four shots, three on goal.

The Lions used 16 different scorers to account for their score. TJ Holston, Phil Potter and Ryan Turner each scored a hat trick for Albright.

The Ravens return to CSAC play on Wednesday, 4/4 when they travel to Shenandoah University for a 4:00 game.
