Jaspers Defeat Detroit for First MAAC Win
Offensively, senior Scott Harris (Saline, MI/Saline) ended the contest with two assists, while sophomore Troy Dennis (Baldwin, NY/Baldwin) and Alex Maini (Lynbrook, NY/Lynbrook) each had a helper. Freshman Brandon Beauregard (Clarkston, MI/Notre Dame Prep) also added a goal.
Detroit outshot Manhattan, 42-33, and had 14 total caused turnovers on the day. UDM also played without leading scorer Joel Matthews (St. Catharines, ON/Holy Cross).
The Titans will now look to regroup as Detroit will host first place Siena next Saturday at Titan Field. Game time is set for 11:00 a.m.
