Gannon Scores First Nine, Cruises by Kutztown
Freshman Alexis Williams (Woolwich Township, NJ/Kingsway) started for the Golden Bears in goal. She grabbed a team-high six groundballs and made ten saves.
Senior Emily Solt (Bowmanstown, Pa./Concord) and Pica were active in getting play started throughout the game with four and three draw controls, respectively.
Gannon's Kimberly Neagle and Sarah Grzybinski each had four goals. Stevie Lombardoni also netted three. Margaret Maslyn picked up the win in goal for the Golden Knights and made seven saves on 18 shots faced.
Kutztown will look to get back in the win column on Tuesday, Apr. 3 as it closes out its three-game road trip at Shippensburg University. Game time is set for 4:00 p.m.
