No. 20 Hofstra Upended by Towson in Two Overtimes

Towson answered back before DeNapoli potted his first goal. Towson's Matt Lamon then dodged a defender and fired a shot from just outside of 10 yards, knotting the score at 2 with 8:23 left in the first half.

The Pride then took a two-goal edge with scoring strikes less than 10 seconds apart. Serling fed DeNapoli with a crisp pass directly in the slot for the easy finish a 3-2 lead with 6:27 left. Off the ensuing faceoff, Sorichetti set up DeNapoli's third goal with 6:18 remaining in the second quarter.

Hofstra will next be in action on Tuesday, April 3 for a non-conference match-up against Dartmouth at Shuart Stadium. Game time is 7:00 p.m.
