Alvernia Manages Just Two Goals at DeSales

Center Valley (Apr. 2, 2012) - Alvernia (5-5) managed just a pair of goals in an 11-2 loss to DeSales (5-3) Monday afternoon in non-conference men's lacrosse action at DeSales.

The Crusaders got both goals from freshman Jared Toll (St. Catherines, Ontario/Lewisburg Area) one in the third quarter and his second with four seconds to go in the game. Senior goalie Kevin Shupp (Cranford, N.J./Cranford) made six saves in net for the Crusaders.

Junior Brian Ray (Cranford, N.J./Cranford) had one assist for the Crusaders. He had the helper on the third quarter goal.

Alvernia starts the conference schedule next Monday when it hosts Widener.
