Players Reach Milestones as Pacers Rout Ravens

Scranton, PA Taylor McKeown moved into the NCAA Division III Top-20 among all-time goal scorers and Kimberly Commisso recorded the 100th point of her collegiate career on Monday, as Marywood cruised to a 25-2 victory over Rosemont in CSAC action. The Pacers improve to 6-3 on the season and remain unbeaten in conference play at 3-0.

McKeown and Commisso gave Marywood a 2-0 lead with goals in the first 3:04 of Monday's night's game before Ashley Fuller cut the Pacers' lead in half at the 26:27 mark of the first half. Marywood built a 6-1 lead over the next 7:11 after getting a goal from Diana D'Achille and three-straight by Brooke Bondurant.

T'Aira Wright cut the Ravens' deficit to four goals by converting a free-position shot with 17:23 remaining in the opening 30 minutes of play, but it was all Marywood from their as the Pacers scored 10 unanswered goals to hold a 16-2 lead at the break.

D'Achille, McKeown, and Bondurant each netted two goals during the run while the Pacers got single tallies from Commisso, Sarah Caughy, and Kelly Kryspin.

Kryspin opened the second half scoring with a free-position goal just 17 seconds into the period and Bondurant, Caughy, and McKeown would all find net to stretch the hosts' advantage to 20-2. Commisso then rattled off three-consecutive goals of her own, the first of which gave the sophomore midfielder her 100th career point.

McKeown scored the final two goals of the game, including her sixth of the game with 11:16 left on the clock, for her 260th tally of her career. With the goal, the senior attacker moves into a tie for 20th place among all-time scorers in NCAA Division III women's lacrosse history.

Bondurant finished with a game-high eight points on six goals and two assists while Marywood got seven-point efforts from McKeown (6 goals, 1 assist), Commisso (5 goals, 2 assists), and D'Achille (3 goals, 4 assists). Caughy (2 goals, 3 assists) and DiGiacomo (1 goal, 4 assists) added four points apiece for the Pacers, who held a commanding, 40-4 advantage in shots for the game, a 26-12 edge in groundballs while winning 22 of the contest's 28 draw controls.

Lauren Indelicato led all players with three caused turnovers while collecting five groundballs. D'Achille tied a single-game program record with 17 draw controls and had a game-high seven groundballs for the Pacers, who got two saves from winning goalie Leigha Dolecemascolo.

Leasuja Talliferro made eight stops in goal for Rosemont, who remains winless in nine games this spring and fell to 0-6 in conference play.

Marywood will travel to Allentown on Wednesday afternoon for a conference match-up against Cedar Crest College. Opening draw is scheduled for 4:00 p.m.

SCRANTON, Pa. - In a game that started out with a frenzied pace, with three goals in the first 3:33, the Marywood Pacers broke open a 6-2 lead to win today's game going away by a final score of 25-2. Rosemont's record now stands at 0-9 (0-6 CSAC) while the Pacers improved to 6-3 (3-0 CSAC).

Ashley Fuller (So., Cardinal Dougherty, Philadelphia) pulled the Ravens to within a goal, 2-1 with 26:27 left in the first half. Following that goal the Pacers scored four more to make the score 6-1 with 19:16 remaining in the first. T'Aira Wright (Sr., Girard College HS, Norristown, Pa.) scored on a free position shot for the Ravens to inch closer to the Pacers at 6-2 with 17:23 left in the half. But that was the last time the Ravens would find the net on the afternoon.

The Pacers found the goal 10 more times before the half to take a commanding 16-2 lead into the break and scored nine more goals to provide the final result.

Rosemont returns to the field at home on Wednesday, 4/4 when they host Wesley College in a non-conference game beginning at 4:00 pm.
