EUGENE, Ore. -- Jana Drummond scored a game-high six goals, including two in a 6-0 finish that erased UC Davis' 13-10 lead, to lead Oregon to a 16-13 win in MPSF action at Pape Field Sunday afternoon. Hannah Mirza netted four goals, while Elizabeth Datino and Stephanie Guercio each had hat tricks for the Aggies.

UC Davis slips to 5-7 overall and even their MPSF record to 2-2. The Ducks improve to 9-4 overall and 4-0 in conference.

Guercio's hat trick is the first of her career. Datino's is her ninth of the year while Mirza secured her sixth. Freshmen Charlotte Morris added two goals and two assists while Landry had one goal and two dimes. Mirza also had six draw controls.

Drummond's six goals led nine Oregon scorers. Her sister Jess added two more, Kristina Barrett provided 2-2-4 offense and Nikki Puszcz tallied four caused turnovers.

In all, the game featured seven ties and four lead changes. Oregon jumped out quickly, scoring three unanswered goals in the first four minutes of play. Datino put the Aggies on the board in the sixth minute to cut the lead to 3-1, then scored her second with 17:36 remaining to make it 4-2.

After Sami Kiser extended the Duck lead to 5-2, UC Davis rattled of four straight goals. Mirza and Guercio each had two in that run, giving the Aggies a 6-5 lead. Oregon tied the contest at 6-6, but Landry immediately restored UC Davis' edge with her goal with 7:30 to go.

Jana Drummond scored on the next possession to equalize once again, then Jess hit an eight-meter chance to put the Ducks up, 8-7. Morris scored two goals, both on assists from Landry, to tie the game at 8-8 and 9-9.

Jana Drummond hit her fourth goal and Mirza completed her hat trick early in the second half to tie the game for a sixth time at 10-10. Then UC Davis erupted with two goals in a span of 24 seconds, first on Guercio's eight-meter goal then on a Datino effort in the 39th minute. Oregon called a timeout only to have UC Davis strike again, this time on a Morris-to-Mirza connection to set the tally at 13-10 with just over 20 minutes remaining.

However, that proved to be the last Aggie goal of the game. Hayley Milner scored a goal and assisted Casey Brogan on another within a 10-second flurry to cut the lead to one. Oregon tied the game at 13-13 on Puszcz's power-play goal with 16:40 left, then the Drummond sisters combined for three straight to put the Ducks up by a 16-13 margin with 6:39 remaining.

UC Davis won 19 of the game's 31 draws and managed to shoot .520 (13 for 25) for the game. But Oregon was particularly adept at protecting the ball, committing just nine turnovers overall.
