Harvard Scores 16 Unanswered to Rout Quinnipiac

After a brief intermission, the Crimson sustained the pressure and disallowed the Bobcats back into the game. Harvard netted five goals in the third quarter, taking a 14-2 advantage into final frame. The deficit was much too high to overcome in the fourth, snapping the Bobcats' three-game winning streak.

For the game, Harvard controlled Quinnipiac in shots, 50-10, ground balls, 36-19, face-offs, 22-4, and forced two more turnovers. The Crimson also forced six failed clear attempts from the visiting Bobcats.

Dylan Torey (Darien, Conn.), Pat Murray (Branford, Conn.) and Eddie Greco (Kings Park, N.Y.) combined for 11 saves between the pipes for the Q. Counterparts, Jake Gambitsky and Christian Coates, made four stops in the win for the Crimson.

Walker led Harvard with four goals on the evening. Daniel Eipp and Cohen added two apiece. Harvard heads to Ivy League foe Penn on Saturday afternoon.

The Bobcats return to the turf on Saturday with a crucial Northeast Conference match-up against Bryant University. Prior to the 1:00 p.m. faceoff, the Quinnipiac University Department of Athletics and Recreation will honor the senior class members for their dedication to the program.
