Former Yale Head Coach Bob McHenry Passes Away

Long-time former Yale head men's lacrosse coach Bob McHenry, 76, passed away on April 11, 2012 from complications due to pneumonia. He was also a long-time collegiate and high school official and a member of the Connecticut Lacrosse hall of Fame. His brother Bill was a long-time athletic director at Washington & Lee.

The loss is a very sad day for Connecticut tacrosse and those who had the privilege to know Bob both at Yale and as a lacrosse official. A nicer gentleman could not be found, and his generosity of time and expertise were always given at a moment's notice.
