Albion Drops MLC Match at Mount Saint Joseph

CINCINNATI, Ohio – Dan Genord and Alexander Dziewit scored goals 30 seconds apart late in the fourth quarter, but time ran out on Albion College in a 8-6 loss to the College of Mount Saint Joseph in Midwest Lacrosse Conference action.

Genord scored twice in the final 4 ½ minutes of the first half and Jamie Kehoe added a score four minutes into the second as Albion surged to a 3-1 lead.

Mount Saint Joseph rallied to forge a 3-3 tie at halftime and it outscored Albion 3-0 in the third. Chris Uselmann scored a goal and assisted on another as the Lions built an 8-4 lead early in the fourth.

Genord finished with four goals for Albion and Joel Hedemark dished out three assists.
