Buckeyes Top Wolverines in Battle at the Big House

Michigan's Willie Steenland scored at 12:19 of the fourth quarter before Ohio State scored two in a row for a 12-7 advantage. Trombley set up senior Brock Sorensen at 11:28 and Alexander found King at 10:05. The Wolverines scored the last two goals of the game, with Vasileff tallying at 9:14 and Trevor Yealy scoring at 7:38. Neither team scored the rest of the way, with Michigan outshooting Ohio State in the quarter, 8-6.

For the game, Ohio State outshot Michigan, 35-25. Dutton had nine saves, with Weiss making 12 for the Wolverines.

The Buckeyes had the advantage in groundballs, 35-29, led by Keenan Ochwat with seven, and Ochwat had two of the team's six caused turnovers. Michigan won 12 of 22 faceoffs, with Knezick 8-7 on the day for Ohio State.
