Charlotte, NC � Eighth-ranked North Carolina finished strong, defeating Hofstra 12-9 in the ESPNU Warrior Classic on Saturday. Marcus Holman (5/2) and Jimmy Bitter (4/3) led the way for the Tar Heels, who upped their record to 9-4 with the win. Lance Yapor and Mike Malave combined for seven goals for the Pride.
