Caughy, Commisso Hit Milestones as Pacers Top Warriors

The Warriors got on the scoreboard first, as sophomore Sarah Quigley (New City, N.Y./Clarkstown South) found the back of the net on a free-position shot and after a pair of Marywood goals, Graybill tied the game with an unassisted tally with 22:34 left in the first half.

Marywood (10-3 overall) took control of the half after that, going on a 9-3 run to close the half and then scoring the first six goals of the second half to take a 17-5 lead with 22:56 left in the game. After the team's alternated a pair of goals, the Warriors scored four straight, with Heagy notching both of her goals and assisting on another to pull within 19-11. However, the team did not get any closer and the Pacers scored the final tally.

Freshman Erin Cieniewicz (Shillington, Pa./Governor Mifflin) added two goals, Quigley finished with a goal and assist and junior Brooke Strausser (Myerstown, Pa./Conrad Weiser Area) added a goal and eight draw controls. Junior Hope Pappas (Upper Darby, Pa./Upper Darby) added three groundballs, two caused turnovers and five draw controls.

Kimberly Commisso notched seven goals and 11 draw controls to lead the Pacers and Diana D'Achille added five goals, three assists and five groundballs. Brooke Bondurant added two goals and four assists and Lauren Indelicato posted six groundballs and five caused turnovers.

Leigh Dolcemascolo made three saves to earn the win for the Pacers. Senior Kristina Maurer (Jim Thorpe, Pa./Marian Catholic) made 10 saves for the Warriors, as she faced 42 shots.

The Warriors get back on the field on Saturday, April 21, when they head to Reading, Pa., to take on first-year program Albright in a Commonwealth Conference game at 1:00 p.m.
